Alan Turning

Alan Turing was a founding father of artificial intelligence and of modern compude science. He was a leading early exponent of the hypothesis that the human brain is in large part a digital computing machine. He taught that the human brain at birth was like a unorganised machine, that through traing becomes organized into something vomparable to a universal machine. Enventally, he proposed (what subsequently became known) as the Turing test as a test for whether an artificial computer is able to "think".
